Orkla House Care is 100% owned by Orkla ASA. Orkla House Care is the leading provider of brushes, rollers and other painting tools. Including relevant consumables such as sanding, tape, protection gear and cleaning equipment. The main markets are the Nordic countries, Benelux and the UK. The main proprietary brands are Jordan, Harris, Anza, Spekter, SAM and Hamilton. Sales are mainly through traditional paint shops and trade merchants. The business has around 900 employees and the total business has a turnover of approximately 1,6 billion Norwegian kroner. Most of the products are self-produced and distributed through Bankeryd in Sweden, and Bromsgrove in the UK. The head office is at Skøyen in Oslo.

Junior Brand Manager

As a Junior Brand Manager with us at Orkla House Care, you will assist our team in managing and strengthening our brands in Benelux with our DIY offering. This through the sales channel; store and by actively working with our team to support Orkla House Care's overall goals and strategies.


Key tasks

  • Setting the short-term marketing strategy and budget for your brand
  • Managing our DIY website and SOME activities
  • Responsible for in-store presence and trade marketing
  • Create distinctive brand assets and tools 
  • Write engaging and effective marketing copy 
  • Responsible for training program of in-store personnel 
  • Analyze and manage brands product assortment
  • Assist Brand Manager PRO with more tactical day to day work


We look for candidates with the following qualifications

  • Relevant degree within marketing or business
  • First experience in marketing within a relevant industry
  • Commercial flair and burning interest in the marketing profession
  • Experience from working on digital surfaces
  • Ability to take independent initiative, be creative and solution-oriented
  • Good analytical characteristics and understanding of numbers and economics
  • Good collaboration and impact on your surroundings
  • Thorough knowledge (written and spoken) of both Dutch, French and English
