Orkla Suomi brings high-quality and delicious food, snacks, and confectionery products to Finnish homes for both everyday and festive occasions. Our portfolio includes over 20 brands, such as Taffel, Panda, Felix, Grandiosa, Oolannin, and Kantolan. We produce chocolate and licorice products in Vaajakoski and potato products in Haraldsby, Åland. In 2023, Orkla Suomi employed approximately 440 people and had a turnover of 270 million euros. SUPPLY CHAIN CONTROLLER
We are strengthening our finance organization and are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Controller to join our finance team.
We offer you
a versatile role within Orkla Suomi’s finance organization. You will be responsible for managing and forecasting the financial aspects of Orkla Suomi’s order and supply chain. You will work in active collaboration with the Supply Chain organization to ensure process cost-efficiency and support the achievement of cost-efficiency targets. You will collaborate with the procurement organization and manufacturing units in other countries, develop internal pricing processes, and ensure transparency of cost impacts on Orkla Suomi’s results. You will play an active role in optimizing the use of operational working capital. You will work alongside Orkla Suomi's finance team on reporting development projects.

The Supply Chain Controller is part of the finance organization and reports to the CFO but also works closely with other departments, especially the Supply Chain department. The primary workplace is either in Turku or Vantaa, but it is also possible to work at the Jyväskylä or Haraldsby offices by agreement. We also offer flexible remote work opportunities. The role includes travel within Finland. International travel within the Baltics and Nordic countries is possible.
Key responsibilities and key activities:
- Responsible for SAP product cost calculation and participation in the innovation process.
- Ensure effective operational working capital management in collaboration with the Supply Chain organization.
- Responsible for developing and maintaining inventory processes, ensuring up-to-date and accurate financial information in your area of responsibility.
- Collaborate with the procurement organization to ensure the achievement of procurement objectives and create transparency on the impact of actions on Orkla Suomi’s business.
- Create and maintain a regular process for internal transfer pricing with different countries, ensuring transparency and impact on Orkla Suomi’s results and the accuracy of IC pricing.
- Participate in investment projects as a financial expert, ensuring financial impact and responsible for CAPEX calculations in your area of responsibility.
- Monitor and act as a key initiator to ensure the cost-efficiency of the Supply Chain.
What will you need as a successful Supply Chain Controller at Orkla Suomi:
- A relevant higher education degree (e.g., MSc in Economics, MSc in Industrial Engineering and Management).
- Several years of experience in similar Controller roles and a good understanding of the management and development of the Supply Chain Controller function.
- Experience working with ERP and BI reporting systems, and experience in developing reporting processes.
- Experience in international manufacturing FMCG business is required. Knowledge of the retail market is considered an advantage.
- Proficiency in SAP and Power BI or equivalent systems is required, and familiarity with ERP systems’ order and supply chain processes. Knowledge of Lean or other production development methodologies is considered an advantage.
- Good collaboration skills, being a cooperative team player, and the ability to handle multiple simultaneous and demanding tasks within tight schedules. You are able to prioritize tasks and responsibilities.
- Professional proficiency in spoken and written Finnish and English. Swedish language skills are an advantage.
