What is your background?
I have a master’s degree in Food Science from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences.  I started as a Brand Manager in Nidar (now Orkla Confectionary and Snacks Norway) and have been working in a variety of different roles within Orkla for 18 years.

What is your role? 
Today, I work as a Product Development Director for the Dinner team within Orkla Foods Norway.

What is the best part of working here?
The best part of working at Orkla is that I get to work with a wide range of iconic brands that people have grown up with. I also get exposed to working with many exciting innovation projects and work with lots of highly skilled and inspiring colleagues.

How does Orkla differ from other companies, especially within the FMCG sector?
Most of our products are locally produced and you get the opportunity to work with the entire value chain - from selecting the raw materials to moving the products in store. You get to be part of each part of the process which is a great learning experience and a unique opportunity to have within an FMCG company.

What is your favourite product and why?
I have a lot of favourite products, but I think my absolute favourite dinner must be the Toro “Smaksrik” Thai Soup Base. This is a new product that was launched recently and gives your soup an all-round authentic and great taste.
