Your Role and Impact

 

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager in Operational Excellence to join our Supply Chain organization at Orkla Snacks. This role focuses on improving supply chain performance by leading projects, driving Operational Excellence, and ensuring consistent, efficient ways of working across factories. You will play a key role in shaping and implementing the Operational Excellence framework, ensuring consistent ways of working and supporting scalable growth across our operations

 

Main Responsibilities

1. Follow Up and Drive Performance in Supply Chain

  • Monitor and analyze supply chain performance across factories, using data insights to support decision-making and strategic prioritization
  • Identify and drive improvement initiatives to enhance KPI delivery and close performance gaps
  • Coordinate and follow up performance improvement plans to secure timely execution
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and presentations for leadership to ensure clear performance visibility
  • Support strategic Supply Chain initiatives and contribute to overall performance improvement
  • Contribute to capacity planning, flexibility improvements, and operational assessments
  • Promote a fact-based, continuous improvement culture across the organization

2. Develop and Implement Operational Excellence

  • Develop and implement the Operational Excellence framework and handbook across categories
  • Act as a Center of Excellence for Lean methodology by setting standards and ensuring best practice application
  • Lead trainings and audits of Lean tools and processes to drive efficiency and consistency
  • Standardize and scale ways of working and best practices across sites
  • Lead cross-functional and category-level projects to drive operational and strategic impact
  • Collaborate with factory teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment and adoption of best practices

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven professional with a strong supply chain and project management background, who combines Lean expertise, analytical thinking, and strong stakeholder management skills to drive cross-functional initiatives, deliver measurable improvements, and thrive in a dynamic, international environment.

 

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in supply chain, operations, or project management roles
  • Proven track record of leading projects, transformation initiatives, or cross-functional teams
  • Strong project management and planning skills, ideally within operational improvement environments
  • Experience in Lean methodology and its practical application in manufacturing settings
  • Solid experience working with stakeholders and driving change initiatives

 

Personal Attributes:

  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present insights and recommendations clearly
  • Resilience and ability to perform in a dynamic, changing environment
  • Ability to engage and influence stakeholders, bringing others on board

  • High level of collaboration and openness to working across functions and cultures

 

Other Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel regularly as part of the role
