About the Role

We are currently looking for a Product Developer in the Confectionery category (international team), whose main task will be to develop new products and continuously improve existing ones from idea to production. In this role, you will lead product development projects and maintain product specifications, working closely with production, marketing, and suppliers.

You will be responsible for:

  • Renovating and harmonizing existing products to improve profitability, quality, and consumer satisfaction;
  • Developing new products from concept to implementation in production, ensuring quality, timelines, and business objectives are met;
  • Conducting product testing (sensory, consumer, production, shelf-life) in cooperation with marketing and supply chain;
  • Creating and maintaining product data, recipes, allergen information, declarations, and process specifications;
  • Collaborating with raw material and technology suppliers, following trends, and implementing new solutions in products and packaging when needed.

 

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A higher education in Food Science, Product Development, Quality, Engineering, or a related field;
  • At least 1 year of experience in product development, R&D, innovation, or production/quality within the food industry;
  • Hands-on experience working in cross-functional teams;The ability to work in a structured way, manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, and meet deadlines;
  • Knowledge of food technology, recipe development, and food safety standards (e.g., HACCP);
  • Very good Estonian and English language skill.
