We are looking for an analytical and self-driven Senior Demand Planner

This role is newly established and will be responsible for ensuring S&OP and IBP process development. Demand planning is an integral part of the company's business strategy, and this role is responsible for securing the Demand Planning processes is well connected with the S&OP process. Which involves, owning the Demand Planning Road Map and coordination of any development related to it with the broader S&OP project team. The role will work closely with Business Units, Central Category Teams, Demand Planners and other functions involved in S&OP/IBP process.   

The position reports to Head of Demand planning and will be based at Orkla’s office in Skøyen, Oslo in Norway. 
  

WHAT WILL BE YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES? 

In this role you will be responsible for the development and implementation of Demand Forecast Planning (part of S&OP) process within Orkla Snacks and you will be the main driver behind SAP IBP implementation for all markets in the role of super user. 

Key responsibilities: 

• Develop, implement and improve Demand Forecast KPI report, Demand Cleansing, Statistical Forecasting.   

• Support Business Units Sales review, securing a combined forecast- statistical and commercial input.   

• Facilitate Demand review and work professionally with involved stakeholders across different markets. 

• Secure the demand planning processes in an assigned Business Unit and securing that a Business Unit Demand Plan is executed. 

• Identify areas for process improvement and develop solutions to strengthen Demand planning and S&OP processes.     

• Develop and maintain best practices and policies.    

• Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.     

• Monitor and report on performance metrics and KPIs.    

WHO ARE YOU?

Key qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in related field 

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Demand planning and other Planning functions 

• Deep understanding and experience with SAP Integrated Business Planning 

• Experience in SAP IBP implementation would be considered as advantage 

• Highly organized, analytical, and strong decision-making skills 

• Fluent in written and spoken Norwegian (or any of the Scandinavian languages) and English
