Your Mission
- Develop, lead, and enhance the strategy for product quality and food safety, ensuring compliance with Orkla Snacks standards, regulations, and customer expectations.
- Implement and maintain a comprehensive quality and food safety program covering all factories and markets.
- Lead audits, assessments, and risk analyses, responding proactively to deviations and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Monitor and ensure environmental, health, and safety standards in close collaboration with HR and sustainability teams.
- Act as the main contact for external auditors and certification bodies, representing the company on quality and safety matters.
- Lead cross-functional projects that promote excellence, standardization, and collaboration across the organization.
- Promote training and awareness in quality, safety, and environmental topics at all levels of the company.
What We Expect From You
- University degree in food science, quality management, environmental sciences, engineering, or a similar field (Bachelor’s or Master’s).
- 10+ years’ experience in manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- In-depth knowledge of food production, quality management, food safety, and EHS (environmental, health, and safety).
- Experience implementing and auditing quality management systems (e.g., BRC, FSSC 22000) and EHS standards (e.g., ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire, engage, and drive changes in organizational culture.
- Experience leading teams across multiple sites and working in matrix organizations across countries.
- Strong commitment to continuous improvement, decision-making, setting direction, and leading transformation.
- Fluent English; proficiency in Baltic/Nordic languages is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel regularly for work.
This position may be based in a variety of locations - Oslo, Norway; Stockholm, Sweden; Riga, Latvia.
