Orkla Snacks has built a solid foundation for governance, risk management and compliance. Following recent changes to our operating model, we are now strengthening how GRC supports the business.
We are looking for a Head of Governance, Risk & Compliance to further develop and evolve our GRC framework, ensuring strong compliance while enabling value creation. The role reports to the CFO and is part of the Central Finance Management Team.
Your role
You will build on an established GRC foundation and proactively develop governance, risk management and compliance across Orkla Snacks. The role combines strategic development with hands-on execution, ensuring frameworks are practical and support better business decisions both centrally and decentrally in the Business Units.
You will act as a trusted advisor to management and the Board, and serve as Secretary to the Board.
Key responsibilities

Assess and report compliance risks to management and Board

Strengthen governance, risk management, and internal control frameworks

Ensure compliance with Orkla ASA requirements (privacy, anti-corruption, sanctions etc.)

Monitor regulatory developments (incl. ESG / EU legislation)

Lead risk assessments and follow-up across the organization

Manage the whistleblowing framework

Advise Business Units and functions on compliance matters

Support M&A and strategic projects from a risk perspective

Developing practical tools, processes, and governance structures

Driving risk awareness and competence across Business Units

Strengthening compliance culture aligned with Orkla Snack’s values

Leading key areas such as GDPR, anti-corruption and sanctions

Ensuring consistent and transparent risk reporting
Who we are looking for
You combine strong expertise with a pragmatic, business-oriented mindset and the ability to translate regulation into practical solutions.
Experience
-
Master’s degree (Law preferred)
-
10+ years relevant experience, including leadership
-
Experience from international, matrix organizations
-
FMCG / value chain experience is a plus
-
Experience with compliance-related tools/systems
Personal qualifications

High integrity and sound judgement
-
Strong communicator and stakeholder manager
-
Business-oriented and hands-on
-
Collaborative and pragmatic
Language

Fluent in English and one Scandinavian language
