Orkla Health is defined as a growth company in Orkla’s portfolio of companies. The Portfolio Company (PortCo) is uniquely positioned to accelerate growth and are expected to deliver significant rise in results in the coming years. A new strategy and organizational model, including Central Operations in Supply Chain, was introduced in 2024 to unlock potential and drive growth. 

For Central Operations the main purpose is to streamline and optimize the supply chain function to be “fit for purpose”. The focus will be both on operational day-to-day business as well as the strategic agenda to secure future competitiveness. The Central Operations team will be the key stakeholder to achieve improved supply chain efficiency and drive projects (including factory footprint) and associated action plans to realize ambitious PortCo cost-out targets.  

A new Business Development Supply Chain department has been established within Central Operations to support organizational efficiency, decision-making, and implementation of initiatives. The Project Manager role belongs to the Business Development Supply Chain department. The department covers project management, technical system and process support, central supply and demand planning and support in strategic insourcing/outsourcing/M&A projects.

Main tasks and responsibilities:  
 

  • Plan and execute Operations improvement projects, secure that needed expertise and skills are in place to realize targeted potential 

  • Work together with local business unit’s resources on projects, motivate and coach them in achieving projects targets 

  • Own and facilitate workshops and project presentations to create largest possible and sustainable impact 

  • Own and manage relevant stakeholders- including functional and organizational leadership 

  • Responsible for coordinating and reporting of relevant operations KPI’s and initiatives within e.g. EHS, Sustainability, CAPEX and Cost-outs. Optimize “ways of working” between operations and commercial function to secure improved daily operations and also promote common “ways of working” across the operations community in Orkla Health 

  • Deliver projects according to agreed scope, timeline, cost and quality, including relevant documentation 

 

Experience and qualifications:  
 

  • Minimum 5 years of experience from operations consulting/supply chain roles coupled with strong experience (and track record) of leading projects or transformation programs where stakeholder management was a clear component 

  • Project management and planning skills, preferably within operations improvement projects 

  • Change management capabilities, and ability to drive efforts for sustainable results and changed ways of working 

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, including skills in fact-based argumentation and documentation in e.g. PowerPoint, Excel and Word 

  • Excellent English language skills, and preferably one Scandinavian language  
     

Personal characteristics:   
 

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to inspire stakeholders at, for role seniority, expected levels of the projects 

  • Ability to work autonomously and demonstrate ownership to assigned projects 

  • Strong doer/result-oriented mentality and problem solver 

  • Commercial mindset, business understanding and ability to drive dialog with key stakeholders 

  • Mentally resilient, enjoy being in new context and working in new teams
