The international business unit in Orkla Health operates and exports a substantial share of the company’s business to several markets outside of the Nordics. The international business unit has an ambitious growth agenda in international markets in Europe and Asia where we are to grow sustainable and profitable brand positions together with our distributor partners.
Orkla Health International is therefore looking for a brand oriented and commercially driven marketing manager for the Oral Health and Wound Care Category portfolios in the European, Middle East and Asian markets to take part in driving the business growth. Marketing Manager - Orkla Health International
The role of the Marketing Manager is to drive growth for the Oral Health category and the Jordan brand, and the Wound Care category and the Salvelox/Salvequick brand in selected distributor markets. You will lead a team of two and execute category and brand strategies in collaboration with the centralized Category business unit, the Commercial team in Orkla Health International, and our partners. The role reports to Marketing Director Orkla Health International.
Main tasks:
- Lead, support and inspire own team.
- Plan and prioritize resources and initiatives.
- Drive and implement the category and brand strategies set by the Category teams. Guide commercial team and partners and support on developing plans for the local markets, ensuring they are relevant locally while driving profitable growth.
- Liaise with own team and the Category teams on global strategies and regional/local market needs. Support partners in and/or develop local assets based on global guidelines where relevant.
- Identify regional / local market and consumer needs, understand local market dynamics and competitive landscape.
- Ensure stakeholders within Orkla Health International business unit and distributors are prepared on projects, timings and deliverables from the Category business unit.
- Build relationships cross functionally and support Commercial Managers towards distributors.
- Follow up on performance on launches and/or communication campaigns.
- Report on brand development.

Experience/Skills:
- Master’s degree in business, marketing or similar.
- 8+ years' work experience, preferably within Marketing and Brand building in an omnichannel setting with particular focus on in-store execution and digital marketing.
- Strong knowledge of effective communication strategies, and media channel characteristics
- 2+ years’ leadership experience.
- Experience with international projects beyond Nordics and exposure to different cultures will be a key consideration. Experience from Asian markets is an advantage.
- Experience having worked with challenger brands
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Fluency in English. Other foreign languages are an asset.
- Advanced in Microsoft Office
The workplace is in our HQ at Skøyen, Oslo. Travel will be required to Europe and Asia.
