Are you ready to shape and drive the IT agenda for one of Norway's leading consumer health businesses?
Orkla Health Norway is looking for an experienced and business-oriented IT Manager in Norway. As IT Manager, you will serve as the key technology partner to the business, ensuring secure and reliable IT operations while driving governance, cyber security, and continuous improvement.
You will work closely with business stakeholders, factories, external vendors, and the wider Orkla IT organization to ensure that technology supports our strategic goals and everyday operations.
Key responsibilities
- Facilitating collaboration between business and IT stakeholders and ensuring technology supports business priorities and strategic objectives
- Ensuring stable and efficient IT operations, including onboarding and offboarding processes, user support, incident management, and vendor coordination
- Supporting production facilities with both IT and Operational Technology (OT) related needs
- Acting as the local owner of IT governance, architecture, compliance, and cyber security, ensuring adherence to company policies, security standards, and GDPR requirements
- Maintaining documentation, software licenses, user access structures, and local IT architecture
- Participating in and leading IT and business transformation initiatives, governance forums, and continuous improvement activities
- Identifying opportunities for process optimization, automation, and cost efficiency across the organization
- Collaborating closely with other Heads of IT across the Orkla Group to drive best practices, standardization, and high-quality service delivery
Experience and qualifications
- Higher education in Information Technology or a related field
- 5+ years of experience within IT operations, infrastructure, and service management
- Experience leading IT projects and coordinating cross-functional initiatives
- Experience with service management and vendor management
- Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, including Windows servers, PCs, client devices, printers, and related technologies
- Good knowledge of ITIL principles and service management frameworks
- Experience working within larger organisations with shared or group-wide IT solutions
- Experience working with offshore service delivery models is an advantage
