Are you ready to shape the future of IT operations and digital development in a dynamic, fast-paced environment? Orkla Care Oy is seeking a forward-thinking IT & Development Manager to lead transformative initiatives that support our growth and innovation journey.

In this pivotal role, you’ll drive strategic IT development, enhance data quality, and be responsible locally key projects such as SAP transformation and CRM implementation. You’ll collaborate across teams and borders, ensuring our systems and processes align with best practices and regulatory standards.

 

Main responsibilities

 

As IT & Development Manager, you will take the lead in overseeing our local IT operations and ensuring robust information security across the organization. You’ll be responsible for developing and executing a forward-looking IT strategy that supports our business goals and aligns with both Group and Health business area requirements, including compliance with local regulations such as NIS2.

 

Your day-to-day work will involve managing IT activities and data quality in close collaboration with service providers, while also maintaining strong partnerships with internal IT teams and external vendors. You’ll play a key role in tracking IT costs and driving continuous process improvements.

In addition to operational responsibilities, you’ll act as a technical expert and project manager in various development initiatives. These include coordinating upgrades to SAP, logistics, CRM, and finance systems, as well as enhancing SAP data quality and improving reporting capabilities. You’ll be instrumental in applying PortCo best practices, promoting automation and AI integration, and supporting internal training, communication, and change management efforts. 

  Your profile

 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Business, or a related field
  • 4+ years of experience in IT management, management consulting, process development, or similar—preferably in FMCG or other fast-paced industries
  • Proven track record in leading system implementation and process improvement projects
  • Strong knowledge of SAP and finance tools (e.g., BI, planning)
  • Experience managing IT service providers and contributing to IT strategy
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on, structured approach
  • Excellent leadership, project management, and communication skills
  • Fluent in English and Finnish, Nordic languages are a plus
  • Willingness to travel as needed
