(Senior) Supply Chain Business Controller

What is the role all about?
As Supply Chain Business Controller* at Orkla Foods, you will act as a key finance partner to Supply Chain and Operations across the organisation. The role plays a central part in ensuring transparency, insight and fact‑based decision‑making across manufacturing, logistics and end‑to‑end supply chain operations.
You will support both day‑to‑day supply chain controlling as well as strategic initiatives and transformation programmes, contributing to cost efficiency, strong financial governance and long‑term investment planning. You will work closely with Central functions, Business Units and Sites in a complex, international environment.
The role will report to SC Development Director.
Key responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Leading and developing supply chain controlling, budgeting and forecasting across sites and business units
- Driving proactive cost controlling by identifying cost drivers, deviations and improvement opportunities
- Establishing harmonised cost structures, reporting and analysis tools to enable transparency and comparability
- Providing financial insights, scenario analyses and decision support to Supply Chain and Operations leadership
- Acting as financial counterpart to supply chain transformation and improvement programmes, including benefit tracking and KPI follow‑up
- Owning supply chain financial governance, KPIs and CAPEX planning in alignment with strategy and capacity needs
- Ensuring compliance with group financial policies, controls and audit requirements
What are we looking for?
We are looking for a structured and analytical finance professional who enjoys working close to operations and across functions in a complex, international organisation.
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or similar
- Minimum five years of relevant experience within finance, supply chain controlling, consulting or financial analysis
- Solid understanding of cost structures within manufacturing, logistics or FMCG environments
- Strong analytical skills with experience in budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP) and analytics tools
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate and influence across functions
