We are looking for a Head of Information Security to take ownership of enterprise-wide cybersecurity strategy, governance, and risk management. What is the role all about?
In the role as Head of Information Security you will work hands-on with establishing and implementing a strategy and framework for cyber security across Orkla Foods. You will work closely with our business units, our suppliers (IT-operation is outsourced) and secure that we have consistent processes and a common view of our risk level, threats and appropriate mitigating measures. You will also support Orkla Foods centrally and our local businesses.
In this role you will report to VP IT.
What you will be owning
- Cybersecurity Frameworks: Expertise in NIST, NIS2, ISO 27001, IEC62443, and other relevant standards.
- Security Strategy & Risk Management: Develop and implement Orkla Foods' cybersecurity strategy, assess risks, and oversee mitigation efforts.
- Leadership & Oversight: Lead security initiatives, ensuring training, coordination, and compliance across business units.
- Policies & Compliance: Develop, enforce, and review security policies to meet legal and regulatory requirements, including Orkla ASA cybersecurity directives and GDPR.
- Incident Response & Business Continuity: Manage security breaches, incident response plans, and business continuity frameworks.
- Audits & Reporting: Ensure compliance with regulations, coordinate audits, and monitor/report security status to leadership.
- Security Awareness & Collaboration: Promote a security-first culture, educate employees on risks, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Technology & Threat Management: Evaluate and oversee security technologies, including firewalls, encryption, and threat detection.

What we are looking for:
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 10+ years in IT security, including 5+ years in leadership roles.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing enterprise-wide cybersecurity programs.
- Experience working in decentralised organisations with multiple business units.
- Successful deployment of security technologies and governance processes.
- Skills & competencies:
- Strong communicator, able to articulate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborative leader who can drive security initiatives across multiple teams and locations.
- Pragmatic and risk-focused, with a hands-on approach to solving security challenges.
- You can balance risk awareness with business needs, work independently, and build strong cross-functional relationships.
