Orkla Home & Personal Care (OHPC) is the Nordic region’s leading and largest supplier of detergents and personal care products. Among our most well-known brands are Zalo, OMO, Klar, Jif, Family Fresh, Define, Dr. Greve, and Lano. Sales are primarily through the grocery sector, specialty retail, and pharmacies. The company has approximately 450 employees and its headquarters are located at Skøyen in Oslo. Most of our products are manufactured at our factories in Ski (Norway) and Falun (Sweden).

We are now strengthening our commercial team and are looking for a Key Account Manager who will play a central role in shaping strategic customer partnerships, leading negotiations, and driving profitable business growth. 


This is an opportunity to influence commercial performance on some of the biggest customers in the market, while contributing to category development and long-term strategic planning. 


This is a full-time, permanent position based at our headquarters in Skøyen, Oslo. 

 

 

What You’ll Do 

 

  • Develop and secure strong relationships with key stakeholders across defined customers and banners 
  • Lead annual and joint business negotiations, ensuring sustainable profitability 
  • Drive insight-based short- and long-term customer plans, both strategic and tactical 
  • Own and optimize your customers’ P&L, ensuring strong commercial execution 
  • Identify customer needs and transform shopper insights into growth opportunities 
  • Plan and execute customer activities, including forecasting, follow-up, and evaluation 
  • Lead customer status meetings, NPD sell-ins, and provide assortment and space recommendations 
  • Contribute to internal communication, category projects, and customer events to strengthen collaboration and execution 

 

 


Your Background 

 

  • University degree in economics, marketing, business, or equivalent experience 
  • Extensive experience in Key Account Management, preferably within FMCG, or solid background in sales/category roles in large brand-driven organizations 
  • Strong commercial understanding with proven ability to manage profitability 
  • Solid negotiation skills, including handling annual agreements 
  • Analytical and structured, with strong planning and forecasting capabilities 
  • Proficient in MS Office  
  • Fluent in Norwegian and good command of English 
  • Valid driver’s license
