Join Orkla Home & Personal Care (OHPC) as our Senior Advisor Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) Manager!
As the GRC Manager, you will be crucial in maintaining and enhancing our compliance framework, ensuring adherence to data privacy regulations like GDPR, and fostering a culture of integrity. You will collaborate closely with the CEO and our senior leaders to safeguard our reputation and ensure robust governance practices. As our Governance, Risk & Compliance you will be a part of our Nordic People & Communication team and report to the Nordic People & Communication Director.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and monitor compliance processes in line with Orkla's guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with laws and regulations, including GDPR and other relevant legislation.
- Develop, maintain, and regularly update internal policies for data processing and employee compliance.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews for continuous improvement.
- Prepare periodic reports on compliance status and risks for management.
- Handle compliance breaches promptly, conduct thorough investigations, and implement corrective measures in a timely manner.
- Lead contingency response efforts for reputation management, including detailed contingency plans.
- Monitor compliance with sanctions regulations.
- Develop and deliver training programs and courses on compliance and governance topics for relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of compliance processes.
- Leverage digital tools and AI technologies to enhance compliance monitoring and reporting, specifying the tools and technologies used.
- Establish and maintain a user-friendly OHPC DMS (Document Management System) that meets all compliance requirements.
- Foster engagement and raise awareness about the OHPC Governing Portal, as well as our policies and procedures.
Candidate profile:
We are looking for a candidate with higher education in law, economics, administration, or a related field. If you have at least 5 years of experience in governance, risk, and compliance, preferably in a larger company, we want to hear from you! Your strong knowledge of GDPR and data privacy regulations, along with proven experience in developing and implementing compliance programs, will be highly valued.

- Higher education in law, economics, administration, or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of experience in governance, risk, and compliance
- Strong knowledge of GDPR and data privacy regulations
- Proven experience in developing and implementing compliance programs
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- High integrity and ethical standards
- Proficiency in English
We value strong analytical skills, a proactive and detail-oriented mindset, and the ability to handle pressure while maintaining composure. Familiarity with AI technologies and experience in developing training programs are a plus.
