We’re a positive and dedicated team working together to reach our goals, and we’re now looking for a motivated Production Technician to join our team in Bankeryd! 

The Production Technician is responsible for developing, optimizing, and supporting manufacturing processes to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality production. This role acts as a technical interface between Design, Production, Quality, and Maintenance, with a strong focus on continuous improvement, operational reliability, and productivity. 

In this role, you’ll play an important part in developing smarter, safer, and more efficient production – helping us make great products even better!  

 

Your main areas of responsibility: 

  • Analyze, develop, and improve existing production flows, methods, and equipment.  
  • Participate in the industrialization of new or modified products, including the development of manufacturing methods, work instructions, and production documentation.  
  • Lead and contribute to improvement projects related to productivity, efficiency, quality, health, and safety.  
  • Design layouts, workflows, and line balancing for production lines.  
  • Support operators and production teams in root cause investigations.  
  • Work with standardization and documentation of processes.  
  • Collaborate with the maintenance department regarding machine performance, downtime, and investment planning.  
  • Participate in the procurement and implementation of new equipment and tools.  
  • Ensure that production processes meet requirements for quality, environmental standards, and workplace safety.  
  • Establish, maintain, and revise PFMEA and control plans for existing processes 
  • When needed, perform process and method development in connection with product-related projects and contribute to the technical advancement of new and existing production equipment 
  • Continuously perform value stream mapping (VSM) as a basis for improvement activities and for monitoring the effects of implemented improvements 
  • When required, prepare documentation and supporting materials for CAPEX related to efficiency, productivity, quality, and safety 
  • Initiate, lead, and follow up assigned projects according to the established internal project process 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Technical education at upper secondary or university level, or equivalent experience - preferably related to production, mechanical engineering, or automation. 
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment.  
  • Experience in machine or process optimization. 
  • Understanding of LEAN principles, 5S, and continuous improvement methodologies.  
  • Knowledge of PLC programming and vision systems is considered an advantage.  
  • Familiarity with CAD, measurement technology, and production planning is a plus. 
  • Good command of Swedish and English, spoken and written.
