Head of Commercial – VitaeHeart

VitaeLab is now entering its next phase of development focusing on product innovation and accelerating international growth through digital subscription model.

We are now looking for a Head of Commercial to lead the newest concept area; VitaeHeart.

VitaeHeart is a newly introduced, science-based health supplement developed to target cholesterol, one of the most significant global health concerns.

At its core, VitaeHeart is built on plant sterols (phytosterols) a clinically researched ingredient with a documented cholesterol-lowering effect recognized by European authorities, including the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA).

This role will be instrumental in our long-term growth strategy, in growing VitaeHeart from its current early post launch start-up position to becoming a large scale-up and multi-million-euro business. The role involves creating the end-to-end growth strategy for this product as well as executing on the digital aspects of growth.

The initial commercial rollout will focus on the Finnish market, with a clear strategic roadmap to scale VitaeHeart across the Nordic region and, over time, expand into key markets throughout Northern and Central Europe.

This role will report to the VitaeLab CCO and work collaboratively with the central VitaeLab team as well as receive support from the broader international value chain and support functions in NutraQ such as logistics, Finance, IT, Dat & Analytics, HR etc.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Commercial Ownership & Execution
  • Strengthening revenue growth, margins and customer lifetime value
  • Drive and optimize sales, marketing and media activities
  • Own and develop performance across key channels (digital and traditional) 
  • Plan and execute campaigns, promotions, and commercial initiatives based on strategy
  • Drive pricing, packing and wider product ideas to enable growth
  • Monitor and reporting of key metrics such as CAC, LTV, and profitability 
  • Ensure focus on both customer acquisition and long-term retention drivers
  • Work hands-on with tools (e.g. Meta, CMS, campaign platforms) 

 

Commercial Development & Transformation

  • Develop new communication concepts and growth approaches to drive growth
  • Ability to create content and work on designs in close collaboration with designers
  • Articulate and implement required customer experience: messaging, channels, digital aspects with teams
  • Ensure progress and momentum in key transformation initiatives supporting VitaeHeart

 

Performance & Agency Development

  • Leading an active role in developing and challenging our performance agency setup
  • Ensure strong collaboration and continuous improvement in execution quality 

 

What We Are Looking For

Essential:

  • Relevant bachelor/master's degree within sales, marketing, business or similar. 
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial or growth roles within start-up and scale up business
  • Strong experience with performance marketing and multi-channel (preferably D2C/subscription) 
  • Proven ability to drive business results through marketing (CAC, LTV, profitability) 
  • Challenge existing assumptions and ways of working 
  • Identify structural barriers to growth and propose new solutions 
  • Entrepreneurial and hands on operational (in addition to strategic)
  • Fluent in Finnish professional skills in English.
