Orkla Suomi brings high-quality and delicious food, snacks, and confectionery products to Finnish homes for both everyday and festive occasions. Our portfolio includes over 20 brands, such as Taffel, Panda, Felix, Grandiosa, Oolannin, and Kantolan. INSIGHT AND STRATEGY MANAGER

 

We are enhancing our consumer insight and strategic capabilities and are looking for a talented individual to join our marketing team in the new role of Insight and Strategy Manager.

 

The main purpose of this role is to identify growth opportunities and develop plans to realize them, ensuring that our winning concepts, business cases, and actions are based on genuine consumer insights.

You will be responsible for obtaining and analyzing consumer insights, developing strategies, and supporting marketing efforts to drive growth and improve ROI. You will collaborate closely with both local and international teams, ensuring seamless communication and strategy implementation. In this role, you will obtain and analyze consumer insights from various sources for our category and brand strategies. You will develop and document strategies in collaboration with the international commercial team, local category teams, and marketing managers. Your work will involve identifying and responding to changes in consumer behavior, developing and commercializing new concepts, and evaluating marketing investments to improve ROI. You will act as a resource and sparring partner for brand and category strategies, ensuring seamless collaboration and exchange of experiences with other Orkla companies. Additionally, you support marketing and product managers in turning data into actionable plans and insights.

 

The primary workplace is either in Turku or Vantaa. We also offer flexible remote work opportunities. The role includes travel within Finland and the Nordic countries.

 

What we are looking for in our new team member

 

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the FMCG sector.
  • Proven experience in business development, market analysis, or strategic planning.
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing category and brand strategies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and make strategic recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience in market trend analysis and consumer behavior studies.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.


Experience working with foods and beverages or similar categories and/or experience working in an agency (marketing agency, media agency, research agency) is considered an advantage.
