Position Overview: OV is seeking a dynamic and experienced VP Sales and Marketing to lead our sales and marketing efforts. This pivotal role includes the responsibility for steering our global accounts and export team, as well as overseeing the performance of our regional sales teams organized in a matrix structure across DACH, Nordics, and UK regions.


The Opportunity: As we continue to expand our presence in the market, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced VP Sales & Marketing to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the commercial activities of OV to strengthen our core B2B sales performance and growth of Sweet Ingredients across the UK, Europe, and the US.
  • Develop and drive the 3-year strategic plan to maximize sales and profitability across a wider, more balanced customer base.
  • Oversee the development of an effective Marketing function to identify further growth opportunities through data-driven market insight and competitive intelligence, trend analysis, digital initiatives, and innovation.
  • Harmonize ways of working across the commercial teams, embracing digitalization to deliver an agile, collaborative sales organization with best-in-class governance, processes, and back-office support.
  • Hold full P&L responsibility for OV sales and EBIT targets.
  • Lead the commercial team to ensure effective implementation and delivery of the strategy.
  • Utilize marketing insights to identify and realize growth opportunities through the analysis of market trends and customer needs.
  • Provide inspirational leadership to the OV sales team, maintaining high levels of energy and ambition.


The Person: The ideal candidate will bring the following experience:

  • Minimum of ten years’ successful track record in commercial leadership and business development within the International Food Industry.
  • Proven track record leading a sales function to deliver growth and achieve revenue targets.
  • Commercially astute with the ability to negotiate and build successful partnerships with major food groups and strategic supply partners.
  • Experience working with CRM systems and sales analytics tools.

Education:

  • Degree level in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. MBA preferred.


Location: Flexible within the UK or Europe. Regular HQ (Copenhagen) attendance will be required.


Travel: High degree of mobility necessary, OV cover an international footprint.
