Marketing Director Orkla Care Sweden

Orkla Care is one of the Nordic region’s leading suppliers of cleaning and personal care products, dietary supplements, vitamins, wound care, sport nutrition and weight control products. Its well-known brands include Möller’s, Nutrilett, Jordan, Salvequick, Grumme, Bliw, Pharbio, Family Fresh, L300, HTH, Active Care and Gymgrossisten. Our products are sold online, through grocery stores, health food stores and pharmacies.


Could this be one of Sweden’s most exciting Marketing leader roles within the consumer goods industry? We are looking for a Marketing Director who is passionate about growing both the business and the people who work for it. In this role you will be able to build Orkla Care Sweden into an even more attractive partner for employees, consumers and customers. 


Main tasks and responsibilities: 

  • Overall responsible for marketing and innovation for Orkla Care Sweden
  • Strategic and operational responsibility for Care Sweden’s total brand portfolio
  • Together with the Country Team and the Business Units, develop a long-term growth plan for the Swedish market and secure strong execution 
  • Responsible for growth, profitability, market position and development of all brands, concepts and product portfolios
  • Set and secure KPIs and targets, including market share and cost base
  • Secure market insight on all relevant categories and manage brand strategies and innovations based on these insights
  • Be the local owner of innovation processes/tools and continuously strengthen and improve the competence on innovation in Care Sweden
  • Responsible for planning, development and execution of the Swedish country and activity plans
  • Secure overall media planning, media agency briefing and follow-up
  • Securing quality and regulatory compliance for the assortment and marketing of Orkla Care Sweden
  • Drive the agenda for digital consumer experience/engagement where applicable
  • Develop sustainability in accordance with Orkla’s ambitions and requirement
  • Plan and manage APR budget and SG&A budget for Marketing Department
  • Build and develop an empowered, high-performing and efficient organization within marketing and innovation
  • Role model Orkla values and leadership behavior

Experience and qualifications:

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in business administration, marketing, finance or similar 
  • Minimum 7 years of marketing/sales experience from relevant positions in FMCG
  • Minimum 5 years people management experience, preferably within marketing or sales
  • Proven track record from delivering organic sales growth over time 
  • Experience from working with digital marketing and/or sales
  • Fluency in English and one Scandinavian language, verbally and written

The role reports functionally and administratively to CEO of Care Sweden. The role is a member of the management team of Orkla Care Sweden. The role works closely with the Business Units of Orkla Care.
