Sourcing Assistant

Orkla China was established in 2019 to enable Orkla’s Business Units to direct source in Asia. We aim to be a one-stop solution for Orkla’s needs in sourcing, supply chain and quality. You will be part of a small, agile and highly competent team, working closely with key stakeholders in procurement, supply chain, R&D, innovation and marketing.

Procurement in Orkla China is part of Orkla Group Procurement (OGP). OGP is the centralized procurement function which handles procurement of categories that have strategic importance across several Orkla businesses, where there are synergies in spend.

Main responsibilities:
•    Administration of specification and quotation process
•    Collecting information and preparing reports
•    Handling domestic/international parcel deliveries
•    Support sourcing of materials/products 
•    Conduct regularly logistic follow-up with suppliers/factories and checking related shipping documents 
•    Update systems
•    Making booking hotel/traffic for overseas/domestic trips
•    Complete additional tasks or assignments


Education and experience:
•    1 or 2 year of experience from a purchasing/sourcing/administration position.
•    Bachelor (BSc), Master (MSc) degree of equivalent
•    Fluent in English
