Orkla Group Procurement (OGP) is the centralized procurement function which handles procurement of categories that have strategic importance across several Orkla businesses, where there are synergies in spend. We find synergy categories within Raw Materials, Commodities, Packaging and Indirect. In close collaboration with local Business Unit Procurement Teams, OGP’s mission is to be a sustainable value contributor to the Orkla Business Units in everything we do. Like driving and supporting commercial processes and enabling the Orkla Procurement community through processes, policies, and development.

 

Within OGP we have the Indirect team, which consist of 11 individuals divided into two sectors – Indirect Materials and Corporate Services. Our colleagues in Indirect Materials work with categories connected to Orkla’s factories – while we in the Corporate Services sector handles categories related to HQs and services – such as Marketing/Media, Travel, Telecom, Advisory and HR-services.

Want to work with strategic procurement? Orkla Group Procurement (OGP) is now looking for a Senior Category Analyst or Category Manager to join our Corporate Services sector. 

 

Analysis, change work, value creation through project management and negotiations are some of the cornerstones in our everyday. Getting to know the Orkla structure and your stakeholders is key, together with running projects with an undefined path - you find the way and get the buy-in and you are triggered by moving the projects forward. Main responsibilities 

  • You will be an important team member contributing to the targets and ambitions for the sector
  • As a Category Manager you will identify potential cross-company sourcing synergies and run cross-company/country project teams – always cross-functional
  • You will lead commercial projects within the sector, pushing the project forward and with value creation on the agenda.
  • You will be responsible for the planning, management, and coordination of the projects
  • Secure involvement from and report regularly to stakeholders and management
  • Run parallel projects in a structured and efficient manner
  • Responsible for building and sharing competence within project scope and to establish strategies and guidelines going forward
  • Build, develop and maintain existing relationships, both internal and external
  • Hold relevant presentations internally and externally
  • Follow-up and have business reviews with suppliers delivering within contracts you are responsible for

 

 

We are looking for a Senior Category Analyst or Category Manager (depending on experience) with interest and previous experience from procurement or consulting – you can also have been in an analyst/controller position within finance, role within marketing, IT or supply chain but have a wish and interest to work more commercial.

 

We think you have approximately 2-5 years’ experience, meritorious from larger international organizations including stakeholder management.

 

Being an international company, English is a prerequisite, and to be fluent in one Scandinavian language, both in spoken and written.

The position can be located in Oslo, Stockholm or Malmö.
