We are now looking for a Quality Regulatory Specialist. As a Quality Regulatory Specialist, you contribute to Orkla Health’s strategy, goals, and improvement work with securing product quality and safe and legal pharmaceutical products and food supplements. Main tasks and responsibilities:
As Quality Regulatory Specialist you will:
- Contribute to continuously improve quality and safety for our food, food supplements and pharmaceutical products.
- Maintain and develop central quality support systems, identify, and perform improvement work and training related to these systems.
- Support on food safety and quality assurance issues regarding products in Orkla Health.
- Contribute to improve operations performance indicators (Safe and legal products, reduction of consumer complaints and cost of poor quality).
- Coordinate and optimize handling of consumer complaints, request and facilitating root cause analysis (RCA) and implementation of corrective and preventive actions required.
- Participate in the work with quality assurance of suppliers related to OFSS (Orkla Food Safety Standard) for suppliers and give input to release criteria’s for Orkla Health plants.
- Participate in planning and performing internal audits, traceability tests and contingency tests.
- Key contact for relevant internal and external stakeholders for pharmaceutical products including competent authorities.
- Actively contribute to “go to market” communication for new launches and contribute to Artwork and regulatory compliance.
- Participate in projects and take actions in processes.
Candidate profile:
- 3+ years of relevant work experience in Quality Assurance and Regulatory, preferably within food, food supplements or pharmaceutical.
- University degree within Food Science, Life science, Pharmacy or equivalent.
- Depth knowledge in Quality assurance, problem-solving and improvement work.
- Preferable: Experience with pharmaceutical standards, Food Safety Standards (GFSI recognized standards) or likewise.
- Fluent in one Scandinavian language and English, both spoken and written.
Personality:
- Strong passion for working within Quality & Safety (Food, food supplements and pharmaceutical products).
- Understand the brand/company strategy, business ambitions, customer agreements etc. and translate it into need of QA support.
