Would you like to join our Operations team in Orkla Confectionery & Snacks, and be part of an exciting journey ahead? We are currently looking for a Project Manager with a great drive to improve our Supply Chain!

The Project Manager role

As Project Manager in the C&S Operations team you will amongst other things drive efficiency and improvement programs within the areas of manufacturing efficiency, planning, logistic, network design and environment, and health and safety. You will be working closely with fantastic colleagues in the Orkla C&S Operations team to achieve targets and deploy capabilities.

What will you be doing?

• Lead and deliver on the Operations part of C&S Strategy.
• Responsible for strategic network projects across Business Units (BU) in local markets.
• Plan, organize and steer Operations projects to be the consolidating force and topic expert in projects.
• Responsible to deliver targeted impact on time in projects according to set plan.
• Develop and improve the cost-out methodology and agenda.
• Lead and motivate project team members.

Do you fit the profile?

If the role catches your interest, you are hopefully a curious individual with an interest in Supply Chain and manufacturing efficiency. As a guide, we believe you have the following experience and qualifications:

• Master’s degree or equivalent within relevant field
• +5 years of experience in Project management, Supply Chain roles and/or manufacturing improvement work. We will also consider highly relevant candidates for a Project Manager role who will soon take the step to Senior Project Manager.
• Project management skills, with an eagerness to be out on the production floor to understand and operationalize initiatives.
• A professional will and personal humility. We are looking for a great team-player!
• Cooperative mindset that can motivate the project team to deliver on project targets and to take ownership of future operations.
• Strong analysis, communication, and presentation skills.
• Good commercial mindset, business understanding and ability to drive dialogue with key stakeholders at various organizational levels.

Interrelations:

The role of Project Manager reports to VP Operations Orkla Confectionery & Snacks.

Place of work:

Primary office location in Oslo, periodically frequent traveling in role.

Our team is a tightly connected group of people based in Oslo and Gothenburg. We represent a mix of highly experienced Supply Chain experts and former Management consultants from different countries
