We are looking for someone who can take a key role in our compliance roadmap and fill the formal role of a DPO (Data Protection Officer). The position will report to Orkla’s Group Compliance Officer and work closely with Group Legal and relevant Group and Business Unit functions such as Marketing, Sales, HR and IT.

We are looking for someone who:

  • is an inspirational project leader
  • is a bit tech-savvy
  • is curious and motivated to keep up with a constantly developing legal and technical area
  • is ready to be a driving force in the compliance efforts of a large international organization, with direct lines of communication to senior management and boards

Main Responsibilities:

You need basic knowledge and experience with GDPR/Personal data law. Formally, you have higher education from Legal, IT, HR, Audit or similar and at least 3 years of relevant work experience. You should also have strong verbal and written communication skills in English, as you will operate across many European jurisdictions. If you are motivated to continuously learn more about the area and believe that this will be important in the future, you might be just the one we are looking for.

At Orkla, you are constantly learning – from different brands, people and markets. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to an area where there still are many open questions and set the standard for how we will operate. We can offer you a role in a multinational organization with quite a local nature. With us you will grow a large network of like-minded people and you will be inspired by challenging questions and projects from day one.

What can Orkla offer you?
Orkla is a unique consumer goods company with a strong footprint in the Nordics but also continually growing within Europe, India and beyond. The ability to work with strong local brands combined with the backdrop of a growing international company, gives our employees the opportunity to really make a difference and see the impact of their work.
