MASTER DATA GOVERNANCE LEAD

 

As a Master Data Governance Lead in Orkla IT you are guiding Orkla on our journey towards treating data as an asset. You will lead team consisting of highly skilled data stewards working together with business stakeholders to ensure good quality data, a team we expect to grow in the years to come. The role will in addition function as project lead on master data initiatives as part of our ERP transformation program. 

 

What will you be doing:

  • Liaising with data owners and relevant stakeholders
  • Manage and coordinate ERP related Master Data initiatives
  • Coordinating the MDG Data Stewards
  • Coordinating the end-to-end MDG businesses processes (“CRUD”)
  • Provides guidance and ensures that the data stewards, data champions, users and analysts have the proper training and support to be successful
  • Project lead on master data initiatives as part of our ERP transformation program, or individual projects 
  • Daily tasks in the overall governance model
     

To be successful in this role, you must have: 

  • Passion for Data Governance     
  • Strategic view of how high performing data management enables business goals 
  • Understand the business benefit of data governance
  • Authority to influence decisions
  • Effective communicator
  • Strong advocate for Data Governance
  • SAP ERP experience is a plus 
  • Enjoys being both high level and hands-on, to build credibility and be a trusted advisor
