Orkla is a leading branded consumer goods company and by completing 10-15 acquisitions yearly we are one of the most active industrial players in the Nordic M&A space. Orkla’s M&A team is responsible for carrying out the Group’s structural strategy and is a leading force in its field. We are now looking for candidates for our M&A department.


As an M&A Analyst, you will be part of a high-energy work environment where you will get to work with motivating colleagues and constantly develop yourself in line with your career aspirations. What is different about working here? You get responsibility from your first day and also the opportunity to identify and complete Orkla’s next acquisition. What this means on a daily basis is working with various kinds of analyses, making valuations, doing presentations to stakeholders (both internal and external), and running several projects on a local and global basis.


What are we looking for?

You have completed higher education with strong academic results and completed 1-2 years of work experience either from the investment banking sector, transaction services, financial advisory or a management consultancy. You have strong business understanding, high analytical and numeric abilities and effective influencing skills. It is required to have fluency in English and a Scandinavian language. Given the nature of the role, international experience or background is highly attractive. Experience in financial modelling and advanced Excel skills are also an advantage.

The position will be based at our Group HQ in Skøyen, Oslo and you will be reporting to the SVP, Business Development and M&A. Regular travel is required.
