Orkla Health is the Nordic region’s biggest supplier and marketer of health products ranging from Omega-3, oral care, vitamin and mineral supplements, as well as weight reduction and sport nutrition products. Our portfolio consists of brands such as Möller’s, Jordan, Sana-sol, Maxim and Nutrilett. Our company operates in the Nordics, Baltics, England and Poland in addition of being present in Asia and European export markets.

 

The international business unit in Orkla Health both operates and exports a substantial share of its business to several markets outside of Nordics. The business unit has an ambitious growth agenda in international markets where we are to establish and grow sustainable and profitable brand positions for Möller’s in the Omega-3 segment and Jordan in the Oral Health segment in these markets. Both brands are well established in over 30 markets worldwide, mainly in Europe and Asia.

Orkla Health International is therefore looking for a commercially driven Junior Brand Manager for the Möller’s brand in the European and Middle East markets to take part in driving the brand growth.

Junior Brand Manager EMEA, Orkla Health International

 

The role of Junior Brand Manager EMEA is to oversee and driving the brand growth in selected markets together with the international team. Here you will develop and implement plans with the Global marketing team, Area Sales managers, distributors, and our Amazon team.

 

You will be responsible for identifying opportunity areas in the markets, understand the local consumer needs and steer the global brand strategy making it relevant locally while driving profitable growth in your markets. In this role you will be able to see the impact of your contribution and feel both ownership and pride.

 

Main tasks:

  • Be the marketing lead towards selected distributors, and support on their needs.
  • Drive, adapt and implement the global brand strategy for the local markets.
  • Develop local marketing plans based on the global brand strategy.
  • Identify local market opportunities, understand local market dynamics and competitive landscape, oversee trends and consumer needs within the category and act upon them.
  • Build relationships cross functionally and support Area Sales Managers towards distributors.
  • Liaise with the global marketing team on local market needs and the marketing mix.
  • Develop local activation campaigns where relevant.
  • Follow up launch tracking’s and communication campaigns.
  • Report on brand and sales development.
  • Drive relevant marketing projects and initiatives across EMEA markets

Experience/Skills:

  • Master's degree within Marketing or similar
  • 0 - 2+ years' work experience
  • Experience with international projects or exposure to different culture will be appreciated.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Fluency in English. Other foreign languages is an asset.
  • Advanced in Microsoft Office, at ease with any new IT solution

The workplace is Oslo. Travel will be required.
