Orkla House Care is 100% owned by Orkla ASA. Orkla House Care is the leading provider of brushes, rollers and other painting tools. Including relevant consumables such as sanding, tape, protection gear and cleaning equipment. The main markets are the Nordic countries, Benelux and the UK. The main proprietary brands are Jordan, Harris, Anza, Spekter, SAM and Hamilton. Sales are mainly through traditional paint shops and trade merchants. The business has around 750 employees and the total business has a turnover of approximately 1,5 billion Norwegian kroner. Most of the products are self-produced and distributed through Bankeryd in Sweden, and Bromsgrove in the UK. The head office is at Skøyen in Oslo.

Enterprise Architect for Orkla House Care (OHC)

We are looking for a skilled and committed person with a good understanding of technical solutions in combination with business understanding. As an Enterprise Architect in Orkla House Care, your main responsibility will be to develop an enterprise architecture plan, analyse where processes can be integrated or decommissioned in our organisation and improve the efficiency and reliability of our business information.
An important part of the Enterprise Architects responsibilities will be to plan and implement OHC`s future Dataplatform, making sure we build a scalable, secure and flexible platform which adapts to the needs of our business.

 

OHC has also started to implement and develop a global ERP solution. The solution is currently implemented in the UK, Sweden, Norway, and Denmark, while Belgium, the Netherlands and China are next in line. 

As our Enterprise Architect, you will not only participate in this exciting journey - you will also help draw the map for our technological future!


Your responsibilities:

  • Architectural responsibility for OHC global solutions and other defined applications/platforms
  • Documenting the enterprise architecture in a holistic and reusable   way
  • Responsible for planning and implementing OHC future Dataplatform
  • Set architectural requirements for projects and ensure that these are followed. 
  • For some projects take on a project management responsibility if needed
  • Ensure that technical improvements to existing solutions are successfully implemented.
  • Assist as an advisor in relevant acquisitions and contribute towards an OHC global strategy, where the goal is to create global processes and systems.
  • Responsible for handling the established Digital Change process in OHC.
  • Responsible for communication and handling of relevant 3rd party suppliers

 

Qualifications:

  • Master's/bachelor's degree or equivalent within Computer Science.
  • Broad understanding of modern architectural principles and integrations.
  • Experience with data sourcing and enterprise data management.
  • Broad technical insight and experience from implementations of ERP projects. Experience with implementation / change of ERP systems will be particularly important.
  • Experience with establishing and managing necessary operational processes for an ERP cloud solution will be an advantage.
  • Experience of working across countries and cultures will also be an advantage.
  • You must be fluent in a Scandinavian language and strong in English - orally and in writing.

The workplace is our head office on Skøyen in Oslo and the position is 100% full-time. Localization in Sweden and the UK will also be possible. Some travel must be expected in the position.
