Supply Chain / Operations Manager

Orkla Food Ingredients is one of the 5 Business Areas in Orkla and accounts for 22% of Orkla’s operating revenues. OFI is the leading supplier of bakery ingredients in the Nordic and Baltic regions, in addition to holding growing positions in selected countries in Europe. The business area has sales and distribution companies in 21 countries. Artisanal and industrial bakeries account for around 66% of sales. Approximately 20% are direct-to-consumer sales under well-known brands such as Odense Marcipan, Mors Hjemmebakte, Kronjäst, Bakkedal and Naturli’. The remaining 14% are sales of ice cream ingredients and accessories.

 

We are Germany's leading S & D company for the artisanal ice cream market and subsidiary of Orkla, a multinational Norwegian group. With a full range of ice cream ingredients, accessories, machineries and fittings, we are the specialists for equipping gelaterias in Germany. We are highly customer and service focused and looking for you as the Supply Chain-/Operations Manager as part of our successful growth process. 

For the position as Supply Chain- / Operations Manager you can expect close cooperation with various internal and external interfaces on an international group level, reporting directly to the MD of the company. 

In this new function you are responsible for:

  • the management of the operative day-to-day business of Eisunion GmbH with its seven locations.
  • monitoring and optimizing the processes and internal communication, as well as the organization between the different subsidiaries.
  • matching the collaboration within the seven branches with focus on internal / external logistics and procurement, optimizing these processes.
  • analysis and efficient organization of day-to-day business with our suppliers, business partners and subcontractors.
  • controlling the flow of information, communicating with internal and external partners.

Your profile:

  • you are a graduate, bachelor's or master's degree in economics, preferably focussed in logistics with professional experience.
  • you are pragmatic, have quick understanding skills and keep track of stressful situations.
  • Your strengths include analytical thinking and structured working.
  • You are communicative, open-minded and like to take initiative.
  • you are skilled in professional handling of all MS Office applications.
  • you have team working skills, assertiveness, have a high level of social competence and a confident manner
  • you are fluent in German, English and ideally basic knowledge of the Italian language.
