At Orkla, there are a variety of career opportunities within finance ranging from new graduates to experienced positions. We have a corporate function based at our HQ in Skøyen covering financial controlling, internal audit, accounting, tax and treasury. In addition, each business area has its own CFO and finance support function.

The Business Controller role represents the bulk of our high volume recruitment and we tend to hire  either graduates or candidates who already have some work experience. These roles can either be Business Area specific (KA model) or based within ASA. Typical projects you would work on include:

• Deep diving into working capital.
• Rrisk modelling.
• Supporting the internal finance streams.

As a controller, you will also be involved in analyzing and communicating the underlying causes behind Orkla’s quarterly results, which is a vital interest to the stock market and investors. You get the opportunity to work closely with the Executive Management team and Investor Relations within Orkla which represents a great opportunity for learning and exposure to senior key persons.

We also recruit positions within Financial Planning and Analysis (Business Controlling) and into the Accounting area. Opportunities within these areas include Tax and Insurance which require high levels of expert knowledge and experience. For those with more banking/finance background and transactional experience, the treasury department is an ideal place for this kind of profile.
