Commercial Sales is the beating heart of Orkla`s operations and represents a variety of career opportunities for many different backgrounds and profiles. Typically our most common entry level position is an Assistant Key Account where you work with one large key customer and learn everything about negotiating and pricing of products as well as customer relations within the different channels.

Most of our companies have a classic sales structure and offer business oriented positions for both junior and more experienced candidates. In addition, Orkla, like many companies, is focused on developing our Ecommerce channels across all our territories therefore we are always on the look out for new talent within this business critical area.

Within Orkla ASA, we have a team that handles revenue management projects on a group basis. In addition to managing revenue, there is a small team of ecommerce and digital sales experts working centrally that supports our subsidiaries in their digital initiatives. What we are most excited about within this team is a newly created department who will work on the Amazon Sales Pilot Project for Orkla in the Nordics. This is a position that is totally new to Orkla and will be entirely entrepreneurial in nature. These kinds of roles require digital sales and marketing skills and represent how the boundaries between these disciplines are becoming more integrated, which again encourages mobility within the Orkla system.
